Who we are

This policy explains how Huntsville Integrative Therapy, LLC ("we," "us") handles your information when you join our email list. That includes the Write As You Are newsletter and any free resource you download in exchange for your email.

This policy covers our email list only. Our website privacy policy [insert link] covers your use of our website.

What we collect

You give us your information when you sign up for a free resource. We collect:

• Your name and email address
• The resource you signed up for and the date you signed up
• How you interact with our emails, such as whether you opened an email or clicked a link (see Open and click tracking)
  We don't ask for health information to join the list. Please don't send us health information by replying to a newsletter.

How we use your information

• To send you the free resource you asked for
• To send our newsletter and occasional emails about our programs, services, and offers
• To understand which emails and topics are useful, so we can improve them

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the services that help us run the list:

• Flodesk,Meta and Google, Google Analytics

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. These companies have their own privacy policies, and we don't control how they handle data.

Open and click tracking

Our emails use standard tracking to show whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to learn what's helpful and to clean inactive addresses from our list. Some email apps let you block this by turning off automatic image loading.

This newsletter is not therapy

Our emails and free resources are for education and reflection. They are not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Subscribing, reading, or replying does not create a therapist-client relationship.

We don't monitor replies for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US), or call 911.

If you are a current or former client, being on this list is your choice. Unsubscribing will never affect your care.

Unsubscribing and how long we keep your information

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

We keep your information while you're subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we delete your information. The exception is your email address, which we keep on a do-not-email list only to make sure you don't receive our emails again. 
 

Your rights and how to reach us

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we have about you
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Stop using it for advertising

To make a request, email us from the address you subscribed with, so we can confirm it's you. We'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy
